Freelance Editor/ Travel and Lifestyle Journalist
Over the last ten years, Sarah has visited 40 different countries and lived in six of them. Some say she has ants in her pants, but she would call it an insatiable curiosity about people and places.
A freelance writer from London, currently living in Australia, Sarah loves all things outdoors. From waterskiing to hiking, kayaking to cycling, she drags her husband up and down the East Coast in their trusty 4×4 exploring the golden beaches and exotic hinterland of Queensland and New South Wales.
Sarah got into writing after completing her two childhood goals, to finish university and work a ski season in the Alps. Like many people at that stage in life, she wasn’t sure what to do next. After a brief stint in the USA, Sarah got a job in London working for a ski company and ended up leading journalists on ski trips all over Europe. She didn’t know it at the time but it was the start of a love affair with both writing, and travel, that would take her all over the world.
“Some say she has ants in her pants, but she would call it an insatiable curiosity about people and places.”
Through travel writing she hopes to share the knowledge she has gained, not just from hours of research—but hints and tips she picked up from people she met along the way who had a little bit of local knowledge to share—the best places to stay, the cheapest ways to get around or an amazing local restaurant. She hopes it will also inspire you to get out and about, because after all, it’s only a plane ride away.
